This exercise aims at applying your sense of hand anchoring that you developed through audit trails, targeting the lower half or lower third of the press, i.e. the takeoff.
In this drill, you want to find a weight ball, a BOSU ball, or a yoga ball, or even a football. Pour the weight onto your hands and drag your feet as close as possible to your hands without landing any weight back onto the feet.
Perform two round trips, and on the third, take off and perform an eccentric as you fight to bring your feet as softly as possible onto the floor.
